Dress Code

Ladies (All levels)

  • Hair neatly secured and pulled back from the face in a bun
  • No warm-up clothing, leg warmers or loose-fitting dance attire in classes
  • No dangling earrings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, or gum

Ladies (Lower School) All Pre Ballet

  • Light pink leotard (Bloch #CL 5405, #CL5462, or #CL5402)
  • Optional pink tights or white anklets
  • Pink ballet slippers leather with sewn elastic strap

Ladies (Intermediate School)

  • Tank style leotard (Bloch #CL5405 or #L5415)


Ballet 1: light blue, Ballet 2: burgundy, Ballet 3: hunter green, Ballet 4: Mulberry

  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet slippers (leather preferred with sewn elastic strap)
  • Pink waist elastic (0.5” width)
  • Black character shoes and skirt

Ladies (Upper School)

  • Black tank or preferably camisole style leotard (Bloch #L5415) prefer without criss cross straps at the back and no halter necks
  • Pink tights (convertible style)
  • Pink ballet slippers canvas or leather with sewn elastic
  • Pink pointe shoes (if applicable) with sewn ribbons
  • Students should not sew the ribbons until consultation with instructor
  • Pink waist elastic (0.5” width)
  • Black character shoes and skirts
  • Black chiffon hip-length ballet skirt (for pointe class)

Gentlemen (All Levels)

  • Black or navy tights or shorts with white socks
  • White short-sleeved T-shirt or leotard
  • White ballet shoes with sewn elastic strap
  • Black character shoes (Intermediate and Upper School)

Modern

  • Leotard of any color, footless tights or cropped pants


Jazz

  • Leotard of any color, jazz shoes, jazz pants


Tap

  • Leotard of any color, tap shoes, tights or anklets Students who are not properly attired for their class will be asked by their instructor to observe that particular class.
