Justin Hughes

Company Dancer


Justin began his training at Inland Pacific Ballet Academy in Montclair, California. He continued dancing at Principia College where he danced Little Improvisations by Antony Tudor for Mr. Tudor’s centennial production, commissioned by the Tudor trust and set by Amanda McKerrow. He also achieved top 10 in triple jump and top 3 in pole vault for Principia College, while attaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Minor in Mathematics.

Justin continued his dance education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under John White and Margarita de Saa in their pre-professional society, the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre under Christopher Stowell, A.D. and Damara Bennett, S.D., and The Rock School for Dance Education under Bo and Stephanie Spassoff. He was part of Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company last year, and is starting his third year with Ballet Idaho’s Company.
