Kerridwyn Schanck grew up in Portland, Oregon. At age six she enrolled at the Portland Ballet. She continued her training there up until 2017. In 2016/17, she enrolled in the far more demanding Career Track program in order to pursue a career in professional dance. She also attended summer programs at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., Houston Ballet, School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Ballet Austin. She has performed in George Balanchine’s Who Cares and Valse Fantasie, Les Sylphides, Petipa’s Raymonda, The Sleeping Beauty, as Odalisques in Le Corsaire, and the pas de six in Napoli. Kerridwyn joins Ballet Idaho as an apprentice for 2017/18 season.
