Well behaved young ladies and gentlemen of all ages are encouraged to attend all the Ballets. It is expected that within boundaries of the theater, appropriate etiquette is expected and courtesy toward fellow patrons is very important.
Children will understand and appreciate the storybook ballets such as The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, whereas the repertoire ballets in the Fall and Spring Collages offer three diverse and shorter ballets in one performance. As an alternative for families with very young children who are still learning theater etiquette, Ballet Idaho presents the Family Series (link to Family Series page) hour-long performances during production week that allows children and families to enjoy short excerpts from the Fall Collage of Classics, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Spring Collage of Classics along with notes from the choreographer, interactive Q & A and an opportunity to meet and interact with the dancers in a smaller more informal theater setting.
