Gina Cerato Fiume

Born in Laguna Beach, California, Gina began her dance training with Lila Zali, Paul Maure, and Kathy Kahn at Ballet Pacifica. She studied on scholarship with the Joffery Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She has extensively trained with Alaine Haubert, Molly Lynch, Janek Schergen, Jeremy Blanton, Diane Diefenderfer, James Jones, and David Allan. Gina danced with Ballet Pacifica doing major roles in ballets as a young dancer and joined Ballet Pacifica as a company member in 1994. While dancing professionally, she had created roles in ballets by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, John Selya, Peter Pucci, David Allan, Ann-Marie DeAngelo, Robert Sund, and Molly Lynch, as well as over 25 more nationally known choreographers. Gina has performed for 10 seasons as Principal Dancer in the well-known Glory of Christmas and the Glory of Easter and also worked as an assistant to the choreographer. She has been a featured performer for 6 seasons at the internationally known Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. Gina retired from a professional dancing career at the age of 44. She has been teaching Ballet for over 25 years at several serious dance conservatories throughout Southern California. She was Ballet Director for several dance studios and has choreographed full-length ballets like The Nutcracker as well as coached for several competitions including YAGP. She has held successful annual Winter, Spring, and Summer Intensives. Gina is a certified Ballet Master under the ABT National Training Curriculum. She ran her own very successful ballet studio in Orange County for several years before relocating to Idaho.
