Youth American Grand Prix

BIA is excited to launch our Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) coaching program.  YAGP is an acclaimed international dance competition that was started in 1999. The program offers dancers the potential to earn scholarships, gain recognition and attend master classes by jury members and master teachers, all while making lasting memories.  Each year, a handful of BIA students will be selected by faculty to train for this competition in both private and group settings. Selection is based on a student’s technical level and readiness to compete as a BIA representative.  This year 10 students have enrolled, and they will represent Ballet Idaho in all three categories – pre-competitive, junior, and senior competitions.
