Jacob grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he trained at the Rock Center for Dance with April Wexelman and Don Bellamy. In 2016, he then was invited to study dance at Houston Ballet Academy under the direction of Vicki Attard. He danced alongside the company in Stanton Welch’s Cinderella and The Nutcracker. Jacob also performed in the academy as well. He danced “Not Fade Away” pas de duex from Christoper Bruce’s Rooster, Brigade and Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra by Stanton Welch AM. His favorite opportunity was being selected to represent Houston Ballet by participating in the Prix de Lausanne’s choreographic project under instruction of Goyo Montero. Jacob later joined BalletMet 2 in 2018, where he had the opportunity to dance alongside the company in Ekman’s Cacti, Liang’s Don Quixote, and dance the role of the Chinese doll in The Nutcracker. After dancing with BalletMet 2 for two seasons, he is excited to continue his career with Ballet Idaho. Jacob’s hobbies include wire wrapping crystals, doing yoga, and being in nature!
