Jacob grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they trained at the Rock Center for Dance with April Wexelman and Don Bellamy. In 2016, Jacob then was invited to study dance at Houston Ballet Academy under the direction of Vicki Attard. Jacob was selected to represent the Houston Ballet by participating in the Prix de Lausanne’s choreographic project under instruction of Goyo Montero. Jacob joined BalletMet 2 in 2018, where they had the opportunity to dance alongside the company in Ekman’s Cacti, Liang’s Don Quixote, and dance the role of the Chinese doll in The Nutcracker. After dancing with BalletMet 2 for two seasons, he Joined Ballet Idaho as a company apprentice for the 20/21 season. With Ballet Idaho, Jacob created roles in works by Craig Davidson, Robyn Mineko Williams, Lauren Edson, FLOCK and Garrett Anderson and danced the title role in Peter Anastos’s The Nutcracker and “Peter” Anne Mueller’s Peter and the Wolf. Jacob was promoted to Company Artist in 2021 and is now a freelance artist who is performing with LED as well as Ballet Idaho for the 22/23 season.
