Ballet Idaho Apprentice


Kylie Corrigan was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho where she trained with Idaho Ballet Theatre, under Brandy Jensen, for 13 years. There, she was honored to perform principal roles in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Alice and Wonderland, and Coppelia, as well as teach ballet to younger students. She has attended multiple summer intensives on scholarship at Ballet West, American Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey Ballet. She competed and placed in the top twelve in the Youth American Grand Prix for 7 consecutive years and received 2nd and 3rd place awards in classical and contemporary divisions. She was invited to perform as a professional guest artist with Yellowstone Ballet Company as the Sugar Plum Fairy in 2018. Kylie was a Trainee with the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago for the 2019-2020 season, while finishing high school remotely. She performed in Trainee productions of Concerto 622, Bolero, and Balanchine’s Who Cares?. She also had the opportunity to perform with the Joffrey Ballet Company in productions of Christopher Wheeldon’s The Nutcracker, as a Snowflake and Chinese Dragon.

Kylie joined Ballet Idaho for the 2020-2021 season as a Trainee and performed in films of original works by Flock, Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, and Paquita.

This will be Kylie’s first season as an Apprentice with Ballet Idaho.
