Ballet Idaho Board of Directors

Filmmaker and Storyteller – OMGFemaleFilmmakers, LLC (CEO) and Video Creator for HP, Inc.

Please describe your education and career history, highlighting any philanthropic, artistic, or nonprofit work.

I am a Native Hawaiian storyteller and filmmaker pursuing a graduate degree in Communication with an emphasis on New Media and Marketing. With a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography, I use those talents to create video content for HP, Inc. I am member of the 2021-2023 Leadership Boise cohort and serve as a board member for Ballet Idaho and the Kessler-Keener Foundation. Through my production company, OMGFemaleFilmmakers, LLC, I have the honor of creating content for multiple nonprofits including The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, Learning Lab Boise, Idaho Nonprofit Center, and multiple animal rescues throughout the valley.

What do you believe about ballet? Or why were you drawn to be a part of Ballet Idaho?

After spending much of my youth on stage as a theatre actor I wanted to support the one dance style I had always wanted to experience, but never had the chance to participate in. As a board member of Ballet Idaho, I’m looking forward to supporting an art form that brings joy and emotion to people of various walks of life.

If you could pick one song for our company to dance to, which song would you pick? And why?

I Lived by One Republic. This is my personal anthem and I would love to see it come to life through Ballet Idaho.
