Behind the Scenes at The Nutcracker

Ballet Idaho’s The Nutcracker is just as magical behind the scenes as it is on the stage, and we want to take you from the audience and beyond the green room to experience that world with us! Join us for a 25 minute journey of interviews with choreographer Peter Anastos, excerpts from the show performed during our 20.21 digital season, chats with dancers, as well as glimpses of the sketches and concept art that this production was built from.

Inspired by the groovy charm of 70s Variety Shows, Artistic Associate Director and Choreographer Anne Mueller has created this quirky ballet set to the local music of Idaho Ho Ho that is sure to give you feelings of retro holiday cheer.
