Isabella Knott was born and raised in Port Angeles, Washington, where she trained at the Sylvia Joyce Wanner Ballet School. During her time there, she performed roles such as Cupid, Dewdrop, Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Sugar Plum, Lilac Fairy, and Bluebird. She has also attended summer intensives at Oregon Ballet Theater, International City School of Ballet, Post Ballet, and Open Space Dance.
In 2022, Isabella was accepted into Ballet Idaho’s Trainee Program, where she has been dancing for the last three years. During that time, she has had the opportunity to perform in many Ballet Idaho productions, including Peter Anastos’ The Nutcracker, Garrett Anderson and Anne Muller’s Swan Lake, Joseph Hernandez’s I Lost My Love, and Christopher Stowell’s The Sleeping Beauty. While a trainee she has had the privilege of working with Glenn Edgerton, Laura O’Malley, Quinn Wharton, Penny Saunders, and Meredith Webster. She concluded her final trainee season, performing the role of Paquita in the trainee production Emergence. Isabella is very excited to begin her apprenticeship with Ballet Idaho.
