About:

Madeline began her training at Illinois Ballet Theater in Moline, Illinois. In 2006 she joined the pre-professional company River Pointe Ballet. She studied under scholarships with the Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, and Texas Ballet Theater. She attended the University of Utah and joined the resident company, Utah Ballet. She received her B.F.A. with a double emphasis in ballet performance and teaching essentials in 2012. Some of her performance highlights with Ballet Idaho include Fairy Godmother in Edwaard Liang’s, Cinderella, Helena in Peter Anastos’, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, as well as featured roles in Danielle Rowe’s, Dreamland, Ricardo Amarante’s, Love Fear Loss, Alejandro Cerrudo’s, Lickety Split, and Robyn Mineko Willaims’, Grey Horses. In the summer, Madeline dances with ARC Dance in Seattle under the direction of Marie Chong. During her seven summers with ARC, she has originated principal roles for works by Alex Ketley, Wen Wei Wang, Marika Brussel, and David Fernandez. Madeline has also danced for two summers with Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance under the direction of Heather Maloy. There she performed lead roles in Asheville and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has performed with AVA Ballet Theatre in Reno, NV.  Locally, Madeline has danced with LED, Boise Dance Co-op, and Treefort Music Fest, performing works by Brendan Duggan, Whyteberg, and many others. Madeline has also been a Ballet Idaho Academy faculty member since 2012. This year she is teaching Ballet 4 and 5 students. She also teaches and choreographs for several other studios in the Boise area.
