Graham Gobeille

About:

Graham started dancing in his hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado, receiving most of his training from Melissa Corr and Scott Ranagan at Canyon Concert Ballet. In 2006, he joined Ballet West 2, a highlight of which was participating in “Ballet West for Kids,” an educational outreach program designed to allow schools all over Utah to experience ballet. Graham has been with Ballet Idaho since 2008 when Peter Anastos became Artistic Director, and he is proud to have been a part of the growth and development of the company.

In his off time, Graham has his hands full parenting his daughter, as well as occasionally performing with ARC Dance and AVA Ballet Theatre during Ballet Idaho’s off season. Some of his favorite performances with Ballet Idaho have included Espada in Peter Anastos’ Don Quixote, Sinbad in Alex Ossadnik’s Scheherezade, Lar Lubovich’s Something About Night, Balanchine’s Agon, Alex Ketley’s Duo, Edwaard Liang’s Infinitum, and Daniel Ojeda’s Together, featuring the music of Fleetwood Mac.  More recently, Graham has enjoyed his appearances in Alejandro Cerrudo’s Off Screen, Penny Saunders’ Shot in the Dark, as “Wolf” in Anne Mueller’s Peter and the Wolf, and in his return to George Balanchine’s Serenade in which he has danced both leading male roles.

This is Graham’s fifteenth season with Ballet Idaho.
