About

Have you ever wondered what dancing in outer space would be like? Our Family Series this year looks to the sky and beyond with A Young Explorer’s Guide to the Cosmos- a new work inspired by space and the solar system, choreographed by Anne Mueller to Gustav Holst’s masterpiece The Planets. This will be accompanied by an excerpt of Robyn Mineko Williams’ whimsical contemporary work, Cloudline, with music by Sufjan Stevens. Join us for an interactive and inspiring evening of dance that embraces our youthful spirit of imagination and exploration.

This galactic ballet is created with young attention spans in mind, with the show running right at an hour. Most importantly, you’ll be surrounded by other families, so a little squirming or out-loud reaction is exactly what brings the theater’s atmosphere to life.
