About:

I received my Bachelors in Theatre at the University of Kentucky and then went on to study Acting and Irish playwrights in Dublin, Ireland. I then moved to Los Angeles where I continued with theater but also began working for a luxury boutique hotel company. It was there that I fell in love with event planning. When I moved to Boise, I joined the Development team at Idaho Shakespeare Festival and started my career in non-profit arts. I loved combining my passion for theatre and event planning experience with fundraising and donor recognition.

What do you believe about ballet? Or why were you drawn to be a part of Ballet Idaho?

I believe that ballet and dance have the ability to reach into the soul and pull out emotion, history, and hope. Ballet has been the love of my life since I was two and will forever be a part of me. The chance to promote and share that joy with fellow Idahoans by joining Ballet Idaho is an opportunity I could not pass up.

If you could pick one song for our company to dance to, which song would you pick? And why?

I would pick one of the pieces from the soundtrack of The Last of the Mohicans. The powerful score to that movie struck me to my core as an 11 year old and I would choreograph dances to it back then.
