Park Long

Park Long is originally from Thornton, Colorado. Park started dancing with Colorado Conservatory of Dance when they turned 4 under the direction of Julia Wilkinson Manley. They danced with CCD until 2017, at which point Park joined Colorado Ballet Academy under the direction of Erica Fischbach for a year before joining Colorado Ballet’s Second Company. As a Second Company member of Colorado Ballet, Park got to perform in ballet’s such as Septime Webre’s Wizard of Oz, The Nutcracker, and Michael Pink’s Dracula.

After one year at Colorado Ballet, Park was hired as an Apprentice at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet. After one season with RWB, Park was promoted to Corps de Ballet. While at RWB, Park had many opportunities to perform throughout Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The repertoire that Park performed included Val Caniparoli’s Jekyll & Hyde, Mark Godden’s The Magic Flute, Lila York’s Handmaids Tale, Loughlan Prior’s Hansel & Gretel, Greg Horsman’s La Bayadere, Marius Petipa’s Swan Lake, Jorden Morris’ Peter Pan, and Galina Yordanova’s The Nutcracker.

Park’s more notable roles have included – Jester and Pas de Trois in Swan Lake, Shadow Peter in Peter Pan, Papageno in The Magic Flute, as well as Fritz and Waltz Soloist in The Nutcracker.

This will be Park’s first season with Ballet Idaho
