Tristan began his training at Sugarloaf Performing Arts in Atlanta, GA. At age 15 he continued with his training at a pre-professional level with Orlando Molina. He began his professional career at St. Lucie Ballet in Florida, under the direction of Lydia Oquendo and Rogelio Corrales.

He has competed in several ballet competitions such as: American Dance Competition/ International Ballet Competition, Universal Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix, and was also invited to compete at Helsinki International Ballet Competition and USA International Ballet Competition. After the competition season, Tristan received a few second company and company offers and decided to train an additional year with United Ballet Theatre under the direction of Joseph Gatti. The following season he joined United Ballet Theatre as a Company Artist. He was thrilled to join Ballet Idaho as a Company Artist in 2024.
