Biography

Ashley began her ballet training at Johansen Olympia Dance Center in Olympia, Washington. At age 14, she moved to Seattle to continue her training at Pacific Northwest Ballet School (PNB). She has attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, BalletMet, and Oregon Ballet Theatre. She studied from 2015-2017 in the Professional Division at PNB, where she performed corps roles such as Snow, Flowers, and Hot Chocolate in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. Ashley also appeared in numerous PNB School performances, including roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade, as the Waltz of the Hours soloist, and the principal role in Valse Fantaisie. In 2016 and 2017, she performed corps and soloist roles in Next Step, an annual showcase of world premieres choreographed by PNB company members. Ashley joins Ballet Idaho as a company dancer for the 2017/18 season.
