Biography

Madeline began her training at Illinois Ballet Theater in Moline. At 16, she became a member of their company, River Point Ballet Theater. She has studied on scholarship with the Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theatre. Upon high school graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City to join the University of Utah’s resident ballet company, Utah Ballet. She also performed several lead roles with Salt Lake City Ballet under the direction of Terry Davis.

Madeline graduated in 2012 with her B.F.A. a double emphasis in ballet performance and teaching. Upon graduation she joined and Ballet Idaho and began teaching at Ballet Idaho Academy. She is currently pursuing graduate degree at Boise State University. The past two summers, she had the opportunity to perform in Seattle with ARC Dance, under thedirection of Marie Chong where she had the opportunity to learn works by Alex Ketley, Jason Ohlberg and Edwaard Liang. She has also performed in the Boise Dance Co-op for the last four summers.

Her classical repertoire includes: Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, Ruslan and Ludmilla, Paquita, and The Sleeping Beauty.
